Volunteers

If you have a passion for conservation, education, or simply a desire to work with your peers and the public, consider joining our team of talented and dedicated volunteers.

What Can Volunteers Do?

At Fossil Rim, volunteers have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, and will receive any required training. They will grow in their knowledge and understanding of Fossil Rim's conservation-focused mission, while assisting our employees in providing the public with engaging opportunities to connect with nature.

Here are a few examples of how volunteers help us to further our mission:

  • Hosting welcome tables
  • Driving for tours
  • Assisting with Environmental Learning programs
  • Hosting discovery stations
  • Assisting with trail maintenance
  • Leading Nature Exploration hikes
  • Assisting with special events
  • Helping with workday projects

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Volunteers do not have opportunities to work directly with animals or animal care.
