Guided tours have changed from what visitors who have taken a tour in previous years may remember.

We currently offer Single-Group Safari Tours, which will take guests along the 7.2-mile Gosdin Scenic Drive, as well as onto some staff roads that guest vehicles are not able to take. This tour is recommended for all ages and lasts approximately two hours.

In order to check what tour starting times are available on a given day, consult the calendar below.

Let’s go over some specific details about Single-Group Safari Tours:

  • private tour available to one group of 1-10 people

  • each person will get one cup of animal feed
  • currently, no tours will be ADA-accessible
  • guests will need to bring their own resealable drinking containers if desired

Here's what we are doing to protect you:

  • create six feet of separation between customers
  • wear cloth face coverings and use plastic dividers in areas of contact with customers
  • frequently clean and disinfect surfaces that are touched often, like doorknobs or restrooms
  • make hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, soap and water, or a similar disinfectant readily available
  • place visible signage to remind everyone of the best hygiene practices
  • each Fossil Rim employee is dedicated to ensuring health protocols

Here's what you can do to protect us:

  • maintain at least six feet of separation from other individuals who aren’t in your household
  • if you feel ill or have COVID-19 symptoms, please go home at this time
  • wash or disinfect hands after any interaction with employees, other customers, or facility items
  • wear a cloth face covering over your nose and mouth anytime you are out of the vehicle
