Safari Tour

  • Join us on a guided Safari Tour through our 7.2-mile scenic park in an open-air vehicle. Learn about the incredible wildlife and our ongoing conservation efforts along the way. This tour is recommended for those of all ages and abilities, and lasts approximately two hours with a 15-minute break at the Overlook.
  • Private Safari Tours are available for as low as $550. This grants tickets for a group of up to 10 guests, ages 3 and up. Each additional guest is an additional $55 per person. (Up to a party of 20) Children under 3 years old are free, but must sit on lap while in tour vehicles.

Behind-The-Scenes-Tour

  • Get ready for a thrilling three-hour guided adventure! Experience breathtaking views and diverse wildlife on the stunning Gosdin Scenic Drive, and dive into our secluded Intensive Management Area (IMA) for a unique glimpse into the conservation of endangered species. Don’t miss an incredible chance to hear from our dedicated animal care team about the essentials of animal nutrition, enrichment, and husbandry. Plus, get an up-close look at our white rhino facilities, where you’ll learn all about these magnificent creatures. Exciting new adventures are always unfolding at Fossil Rim. To ensure our guests can enjoy these limited-time experiences and to cater to the needs of our amazing animals, this tour route may change. But don’t worry – you can always count on a fresh and exhilarating experience!
  • All guests to be at least 8 years old and wear closed toed shoes. No Croc’s.
  • This tour takes participants to areas of the park not normally accessible to guests. Due to the nature of the locations, behind-the-scenes tours are not ADA-accessible at this time.
  • Private Behind-The-Scenes Tours are available for as low as $750. This grants tickets for a group of up to 10 guests. Each additional guest is an additional $75 per person. (Up to a party of 16)
  • *All requests must be made at least two weeks in advance of your preferred tour date.
  • Please at least arrive 15 minutes before the tour begins.
  • Refunds can be issued up to 72 hours before your tour. Tours can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance once without a fee. You may be charged for any subsequent reschedules.
  • Each individual will receive one portion of animal feed.
  • Re-sealable bottled beverages are allowed, no glass containers.
  • No pets are allowed on property.
