conservation doesn't paws
and neither should your support
Every year, Fossil Rim welcomes new life.
Black-footed cat kittens, the smallest wild cat in Africa, taking their first steps outside the den. American Red Wolf and Mexican gray wolf pups, born into two of the most critically endangered canid recovery programs in the country. These are the animals whose future depends on the work happening here every single day. And that work does not paws (pause). It does not slow down between seasons or wait for convenient timing. Feeding, veterinary care, habitat maintenance, and the science behind these breeding programs continue whether or not anyone is watching.
This North Texas Giving Day, we are asking our community to keep pace with that work.
why now
North Texas Giving Day runs August 27 through September 17, and your support helps power the full scope of conservation at Fossil Rim. Your gift helps provide the daily care our animals depend on, support the staff and veterinary teams who care for them, advance critical conservation research, and maintain the habitats where these animals live and thrive.
Because conservation does not follow a convenient schedule. There is no slow season when an animal needs care, no pause button on protecting endangered species, and no waiting until tomorrow when today's work matters.
How to help
Your gift, at any level, helps keep this work moving.
Visit our North Texas Giving Day page and make your donation today. And if paw puns aren't your thing and you're more of a giraffe enthusiast (or have a soft spot for our scimitar-horned oryx) hoof it over and consider making a gift today.
Every gift helps Fossil Rim continue the work that cannot wait. Because conservation doesn't paws. And neither will we.
