You've been horned!

Listed as a threatened species in Texas, the horned lizard needs our help to ensure this species doesn't go extinct. The Fort Worth Zoo, Dallas Zoo, and San Antonio Zoo are already working in conjunction with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to breed horned lizards and release hatched lizards back into protected habitats. Fossil Rim will be joining their efforts by starting a breeding program of its own!

Here's where you come in. Although small reptiles, the cost to care for horned lizards is pretty big. Fossil Rim's project goal is to raise $260,000 to build a facility, outfitted with the proper reptile habitats, and to bring on new staff and interns.
