A request for driving on our two-lane, one-way road: if both sides are open, stay to the right. If you want to stop and look at an animal, stop on the right side. If you want to pass, transition from the right side to the left and then head back to the right. Only travel on the left side – or stop on the left side – if we are very busy and the right side is constantly filled beside you.GET THE LATEST!
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is dedicated to the conservation of species in peril, conducting scientific research, training of professionals, responsible management of natural resources and public education. Through these activities, we provide a diversity of compelling learning experiences that inspire positive change in the way people think, feel and act towards nature.
Meet the animals that call Fossil Rim their home.
Our animals depend on each one of you. Visitors, members, donors, volunteers and corporate sponsors are critical for the continuation of our conservation efforts. Fossil Rim is a nonprofit organization, and we need your help.
We have undertaken the monumental task of saving species by using our vast acreage as a breeding facility. Each time you purchase a ticket, buy a souvenir, enjoy a meal, take a tour, learn something by attending a program or spend the night on the property you are supporting endangered species and our attempts to keep them alive for our great-grandchildren and beyond. We offer our heartfelt thanks for your support; you are an important part of conservation.
