Fossil Rim giraffe herd keeps growing

After adding a female calf on Jan. 13, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center gained another new member to its giraffe herd on March 6.
The adult giraffe “Nettie” gave birth to a boy that morning in the Game Preserve pasture. Nettie’s last calf, “Nyla,” was born in April 2015.
That makes nine giraffes at Fossil Rim currently, including three under two years of age.
