Fossil Rim honors Adams with retirement party

After 18 years of service to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, Chief Financial Officer Pam Adams was honored by staff, volunteers and interns with a retirement event that showed just how much everyone valued her contributions and friendship.

Fossil Rim Executive Director Dr. Pat Condy presented Chief Financial Officer Pam Adams a gift from the staff and thanked her for her 18 years of quality service to the organization. She was honored at a retirement lunch on Aug. 31.

Fossil Rim’s Activity Center was bustling with activity Aug. 31 for a lunch in Adams’ honor. Before the crowd dined on a feast worthy of Thanksgiving Day, Executive Director Dr. Pat Condy spoke about his 14 years working with Adams and how important and dependable she had been during that time. He said she always kept him very informed of the wildlife center’s financial standing, especially during some of the tougher times years ago.

Condy presented her a gift on behalf of the staff and wished Adams well, as she looks forward to her upcoming travels with her husband, Joe. Adams thanked her financial team for their dependability throughout the years and the overall staff for their efforts to plan the event and for her gift, as well as making the food and decorations. She also talked about how blessed she felt to have a career at Fossil Rim and encouraged new staff members to stay for the long haul, because it was one of the best decisions they could make.
