Free education outreach programs available

Everyone loves getting something for free, and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center’s education department has quite an offer going right now.
The facility was the recipient of a 2016 grant through the Communities Foundation of Texas. It allows Fossil Rim to offer free outreach opportunities, but only to schools and through Dec. 2017. There are still several outreach dates available, and schools within approximately 100 miles of Fossil Rim are eligible.
James Morgan, Fossil Rim assistant director of education, encourages interested teachers to contact him at jamesm@fossilrim.org or call 254.898.4207. Morgan said programs can be selected in advance, plus they all meet TEKS standards and can be tailored to any grade level.
